Google has partnered with the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), in using Google Maps to help identify locations accepting excess medication as part of the DEA’s bi-annual drug take back days. Unused prescription medication frequently finds itself in idle hands that use it for purposes of abuse, to seed their addiction. Google is just one of many companies cooperating with the DEA to make a difference in our battle against addiction.
